rinse lentils; add water; heat to simmering; cook
for 20 minutes
in a separate pan, saute diced onion, garlic, and
diced pepper in oil until soft.
then stir in garam masala, ginger, paprika, turmeric
add diced tomato
Add spice mix to the cooked lentils, add lemon juice
serve lentil spice mixture over cooked rice
sprinkle with minced cilantro
