     Apple Crisp

6 cups pared sliced apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp water
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup quick oats
1/3 cup margarine
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Put sliced apples in 8 inch square baking dish and sprinkle lemon juice and water over them to prevent them from turning brown.
Mix brown sugar, flour, oats, margarine, and cinnamon, using a fork to mix, then cover the apples with this mixture.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with ice cream. Butter pecan is an excellent pairing!
