Saute onions in butter, stir in flour while onions
are sauteing. In soup pot, pour in 2 cans beef
broth, white wine, thyme, bay leaves, salt/pepper.
Bring to a boil. Add onions, then simmer x20 min.
In individual bowls, pour soup over melba toast,
and top w/ cheese. Broil until it melts.
