     Ground Italian Sausage- Instant Pot Meatballs

Ingredients
1 lb Italian Sausage
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup panko or plain breadcrumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup milk
1 jar spaghetti sauce
 

Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except sauce, with hands until well mixed. Form into balls slightly smaller than a golf ball. No need to brown meatballs. Spray bottom of instant pot with cooking spray and add spaghetti sauce. Rinse jar with a little extra water and add to the pot. Place meatballs in sauce. If concerned about a burn notice you can place a short rack in the sauce and place meatballs on the rack.
Place lid on instant pot set to high pressure for 7-8 minutes. Natural release for 5 minutes then do quick release. Serve on cooked spaghetti.
Alternate Recipe- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef or ground pork or mixed, 1/2 cup onion, 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 2 eggs, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 Tbsp milk, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/4 black pepper, spaghetti sauce
