     Butter Tarts

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
 
Instructions
Melt butter. Stir in all but egg. Beat egg slightly and add. Mix well Put in tart shells
Bake at 350 F
A little bit of cream apparently prevents boil overs.
