     Bev’s Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie

Ingredients
Deep Dish 9 inch pie crust
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
6 cups thinly sliced peeled golden delicious apples
Crumb Topping - stirred together
2/3 cup brown sugar
 
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup oats
1/4 cup butter cut in until topping looks like crumbs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup caramel topping

Instructions
Stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add apple slices and toss to coat. Dish apples into pie crust. Make crumb topping and sprinkle on apples.
Place pie on cookie sheet lined with foil. Cover edges of pie with foil Bake in preheated 375 F oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with pecans, drizzle with caramel Cool on wire rack or serve warm.
