     Bert’s Yummy Pickles

Ingredients
6 qts cucumbers sliced
1 qt onions
Cover for 3 hrs with 1/2 cup pickling salt and 4 qts cold water.
Drain
Bring to a boil
6 cups sugar
6 cups vinegar
1 tsp turmeric
 
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp celery seed
Add cukes and boil for a few minutes
Bottle.
