     Deb's Lasagna

1 lb ground beef
1 lb Bob Evans Italian sausage
1 cup diced onion
2 tsps minced garlic
salt, pepper, italian seasoning to taste
1/2 cup grated parmesean
16 oz cottage cheese large curd
1 egg
3 to 4 jars of spaghetti sauce. I mix it up different brand/type
12 lasagna noodles, par cooked. I fix a few extra. just in case I need them
Assorted shredded cheese's 2 cup bags parm, cheddar, mozz and provolone

1 crumble and brown the beef and sausage until not pink drain well 2 While meat drains, saute the onion until just soft;add garlic and cook 1 minute longer, then add the meat back to the pot. Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; combine. Add the sauces mix well and reduce heat. 3 in a medium bowl mix the egg and cottage cheese together. 4 par cook the noodles. 5 Spray a 13x9 pan well. 6 cover the bottom of the pan with a thin layer of sauce, place 4 noodles over the sauce, then another layer of sauce, take 1/2 of the cottage cheese and layer it on,then cover with a layer of assorted cheese's, ending with parm; then 2nd layer just like the 1st. End with noodle, sauce and last of the cheese's. 7 Cover with foil sprayed with non stick, bak at 350 for approx 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil and bake until top is browned and cheese is melted. 8 let set for 10 minutes before serving to let set up some.
