Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat first 5
ingredients together until smooth and spread in
the bottom of pastry shell. Top with pecans.
Beat 3 eggs. Stir in the 1/4 cup sugar, karo syrup, and
1 tsp vanilla. Very gently pour the corn syrup mix over
the pecans. Bake until center is firm, about 50
minutes.
