     Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients
2 cups flour, more like 1 cup and 1 cup just a bit shy of level
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 cup water
3 TB cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
 
1 tsp vanilla
t tsp cinnamon
FROSTING
1 stick butter or margarine
3 TB cocoa
6 TB milk
1 16 oz box powdered sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. For the cake- Stir flour, sugar and salt together in bowl. Set aside. In saucepan, heat margarine, cocoa and water. Stir while bringing to a boil. Pour over the flour mixture and stir together. In separate bowl, stir eggs, soda, buttermilk, cinnamon and vanilla together. Add to the flour/cocoa mixture and stir well.
Bake in a greased sheet cake pan for 18 minutes at 350 degrees. 5 minutes before the cake is done, make the icing.
Icing- Mix together cocoa, butter and milk. Heat and then add nuts, powdered sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over hot cake and allow to cool.
