8 slices brioche or white bread if that is all you have
syrup of choice
powdered sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
In a bowl combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
Whisk in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour into a
shallow container such as a pie plate.
In a skillet melt the butter. Dip bread in egg
mixture. Fry slices until golden brown, then flip
and cook the other side. Sprinkle with powdered
sugar if desired. Serve with syrup.
