Heat 1 1/2 cups milk
Mix
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
Add to the milk
Cool and add
1 cup drained crushed pineapple
1 tsp vanilla
 
Pour into baked pie shell
Cover with meringue
