     Pound Cake almond strawberry

10 in skillet - generously buttered
1-1/2 cups sugar
1-1/2 sticks unsalted buttter - 12 TBSP
3 large eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp almond extract
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 lb strawberries - hulled, sliced, and half cut in half
1/4 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 TBSP all purpose flour
1 TBSP salted butter - cold and cubed
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 cup confectionary sugar
1TBSP-1 tsp lemon juice

325 degree oven Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Add sour cream and almond extract. Slowly add the flour and mix until well combined, scraping the bowl. Fold in the strawberries.
Combine the brown sugar, flour, butter, and cut together using pastry cutter until it resembles crumbs. Mix in the almonds. Pour the batter into the buttered skillet. Press the remaining strawberries into the surface of the batter cut-side down leaving them mostly exposed. Scatter the crumble over top.
1 hour. Let cake sit for 30 mns. Omit the crumble and glaze - tooo sweet Feb 2021
