12 oz frozen COD or haddock
|

12 oz frozen HADDOCK or cod
|

12 oz frozen FLOUNDER
|

4-5 cups WATER
|

4-5 CHICKEN BOUILLON CUBES

2 cups WHOLE MILK
|
|
2 med peeled cubed POTATOES
|
|
1/2- 1 Lg chopped YELLOW ONION
|
|
1-2 thin sliced CELERY stalks
|
|
|
|
3- 4 oz diced SALT PORK
|
|
2 -3 Tbl real BUTTER
|
|
2 BAY LEAVES
|
|
coarse BLACK PEPPER - to taste
|
|
CELERY SEED - to taste
|
|
SALT - to taste.

Instructions |
|
|
Place cod/ haddock in cold water to thaw. In large
pot saute salt pork, onion, celery, and bay
leaves. Cook until done.
|
|
|
Add water, bouillon, potatoes, and frozen
flounder. stirring often. Boil/simmer 20-25 min
until potato is done and flounder has dissolved.
|
|
|
Cut cod/haddock into bite size pieces. Add fish,
milk, and butter and simmer 5-10 mins until fish
is done. Add spices to taste.

|
TIP- Reheat on stovetop, slowly, on low heat.
NOTE- Experiment with seasonings, such as thyme,
nutmeg, garlic powder, Old Bay, etc.

Serve with oyster crackers or saltines.
