Category   Sauces
Sub Category   None
Servings   Normal.

Ingredients
1 lb hamburger
1/4 large onion
1/2 green pepper
1/4 stalk celery
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 teaspoon oregano
2 tsp mint
2 tsp sweet basil

2 tsp parsley
2 tsp granulated garlic
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp pepper
1/4 can beef consommé 11 liter of super thick crushed tomatoes
200 mls tomato paste
4 tsps cornstarch

Instructions
Use more paste to tomato if you can’t get super thick crushed tomatoes. Cover ground beef with hot water While it’s coming to a boil add all spices to it. After boiling add vegetables (parboiled before being added, can sauté if wanted just takes longer) Add beef consommé Rapid boil for about an hour. Add tomatoes, and paste Add enough hot water to bring it to the correct consistency Skin fat off the top Add a bit of water to the right consistency Mix 1/2 cup cornstarch with cold water and stir it in Right away turn it down, low as possible and let simmer for 2-3 hours, keep stirring throughout entire process. You know it’s ready when after stirring it starts boiling again at low, low heat. Meatballs - same spice mix, but no sugar and less garlic.
