Find the recommended cook time on any box/bag of pasta. Take lowest, even number in the
range (If only one time is given and it's odd, round down. So 7 minutes becomes 6. 4 or 5 min
times on box, instant pot time is 0, 0 is a setting that can be used) Divide cook time in half.
Subtract 2 min and you get your cook time. Pressure cook on high. Use 5 min natural
release then release any remaining pressure. Example, 11 on box, round down to 10, subtract
2, so instant pot pressure cook time is 8. Natural release for 5 min. Let the rest of the
pressure out manually.

Open lid and give pasta a very good stir - about 20 to 30 times. This makes sure the pasta
gets really well incorporated with the small amount of water that remains. Note- When you
start stirring the pasta, there may still be a few dry spots on the pasta where it was sticking
out of the water. Don't worry as you stir and let the pasta steam in the next step it will
continue to absorb. Return the lid, no need to lock and leave the pasta to sit 5-10 min to
allow pasta to steam and absorb rest of the liquid.
