Drain berries (SAVE JUICE). Add enough water to
juice to equal 1 1/4 cups. Mix sugar, cornstarch,
lemon juice, and liquid. Bring to a boil and cook
until it thickens. Cool completely, refrigerate
until ready to use. Raspberries or pineapple may
be substituted.
