1 1/2 cups peeled, chopped apple, about 1 large Granny Smith
3/4 cup caramel topping, I used Smucker's Salted Caramel Topping
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup choopped pecans
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees 2. Line 11 x 7 in pan
with parchment paper or foil, extending over edges
of pan. Coat with nonstick spray. 3. In a large
bowl, cut butter into cookie mix using fork or
pastry blender. Stir in egg until mixture is
crumbly. 4. Reserve 1 1/2 cup of cookie mixture.
Press remaining cookie mixture into bottom of pan
and bake 15 minutes. 5. Sprinkle apples evenly over
crust. 6. In a small bowl, mix caramel topping and
flour; spoon over apples. 7. To reserved cookie
mixture, stir in pecans and sprinkle mixture over
apples. 8. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden
brown. Cool and then refrigerate several hours for
easy cutting.
