4 c water
1 T Kosher salt
Shredded turnip

Pack shredded turnip into wide mouth mason.Mix water and salt together till salt dissolves. If you heat it to dissolve salt you must return to room temp before using. Pour over veg in jar. Put on a fermentation lid. Place in a dark room temp 70 degree or a little more to ferment. Place jar on a plate as sometimes juice escapes. Test every few days to see how flavor is developing. Once it is to your liking store in fridge.
I really like this as a healthy gut bacteria snack.
