5 Cups cooked macaroni(8 oz raw)
4 T Butter
4 T Flour
1/4 t salt
1/8 t pepper
2 Cups milk
3/4 Cup shredded sharp cheddar
OPTIONAL- dollop sour cream, garlic powder

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add cheese and cook until melted.
use 8 x 10 baking dish, alternate layers of mac and cheese sauce. Bake 350 for 20 min.
