Oven 350. Toss broccoli with olive oil, sprinkle
with 1/2 the garlic. bake 15-20 minutes tossing
occasionally

Melt 1 tbsp butter in soup pan, saute onion and
carrot until tender 5 to 7 minutes. Remove to plate
|
|
|
Add remaining 4 tbsp butter to pan. When melted add
flour slowly. Slowly stir in half and half, then
stir in broth. Simmer until thickened 10-15 minutes
|
|
|
Drop in cheddar cheese, add back veggies and
broccoli. Simmer 5 minutes.
