Tex Mex Paste- 6oz can tomato paste, 3 cups water, 3
Tbsp vinegar, 3 Tbsp finely minced jalapeños (from a
can of sliced jalapeños), 1 Tbsp dried onion flakes,
2 tsp salt (or salt substitute), 2 tsp cornstarch, 1
tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp onion
powder, 1 dash garlic powder Combine tomato paste
with water in a medium sauce pan & whisk until
smooth.
