1 beef brisket
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1/8 cup salt
1/4 cup paprika

Mix all spices together to make a rub. Apply liberally to all surfaces of brisket. Place meat in roasting pan and cover with foil. Place in refrigerator overnight. Bake brisket at 275 degrees for approximately one hour per pound. Brisket is done when internal temperature of the meat reaches 180 to 190 degrees. Remove meat from oven and let rest for 15 minutes, slice meat across the grain and serve.
