1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
1 t chili flakes
1 T gr cumin
2 10 oz cans tomato soup
2c chicken broth
1 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
3T chili powder
1 t black pepper
1 t salt
2 cans kidney beans
1 carrot finely chopped
2stalks celery finely chopped

Brown ground beef over medium high heat until well cooked. Drain to remove fat.
Add onions, carrots, celery, red pepper flakes and half of the cumin and cook until onion is tender.
Pour in tomato soup, chicken broth and crushed tomatoes. Season with chilli powder salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add drained and rinsed beans, season with remaining cumin and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Simmer for another 30 minutes, to reduce and thicken.
