     Bread Pudding with Whiskey sauce

large italian loaf bread cube leave out overnight
1/2 and 1/2 or whole milk 1 qt soak bread in milk
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup bourbon
soak raisins in bourbon
5 eggs
3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp all spice
2 tbsp vanilla
whisk together and pour over bread
fold in raisins and stir gently
whiskey sauce-
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup bourbon
1 whisked egg

Butter 13x9 pan and pour in mixture
Bake at 350 for 35 to 45 mins
Bourbon sauce 1/2 cup butter - melted add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup bourbon, 1 whisked egg stir over low heat constantly till the consistency of coating the back of a spoon
