Assortment of veggies to dip
1 can 15 oz black beans
1 can 15 oz white beans
1 can 15 oz garbanzo beans or chickpeas
1 can 15 oz red beans
1 16 oz jar of tahini/ sesame paste
1 small jar of cumin
1 small jar of paprika
1 small jar of cayenne pepper
2 heads of garlic or minced garlic
3 lemons or 15 oz of lemon juice
1 16oz jar of olive oil
1 small jalapeno pepper
3 packages of pita bread to make pita chips

1. Drain and rinse canned beans - do not mix! 2. For each type of hummus, blend with a food processor, emersion blender, or blender - extra olive oil may be needed to make a smoother texture. 3. How to make pita chips- Ingredients- 3 packages of pita bread, 6 tbsp olive oil, salt to taste - Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. - Slice each pita bread into 6-8 pieces, pie style. - Toss pita bread, olive oil and salt together in a bowl. - Place seasoned pita slices onto a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, until crispy. You may need to stir or flip the pita at about 5 minutes. For traditional hummus- 1 can garbanzo beans or chickpeas 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp tahini paste 1 clove garlic minced 1/2 tsp salt black pepper to taste 2 tbsp of olive oil (or more) 5 tsp cumin
Red Bean Hummus 1 garlic clove minced 2 tbsp lemon juice 1/3 cup of tahini paste 5 tsp cumin salt to taste 1 15 oz can of red beans 1 small jalapeno pepper chopped 2 tsp olive oil
White Bean Hummus 1 15 oz can white beans 3 tbsp lemon juice 5 tsp cumin 2 garlic cloves minced 2 tbsp tahini paste salt and pepper 1/2 cup olive oil
Black bean hummus 1 15 oz can black beans 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 1/2 tbsp tahini paste 3 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp of olive oil Enjoy!
