     Pasta sauce from tomato

5 Lb tomato
1 lb Sausage
3/4 lb ground beef
2 cloves garlic crushed
1/2 cup water
2 T sugar
1 1/2 t dried basil leaves
1/2 t fennel seeds
1 T italian seasoning
1 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
4 T chopped fresh parsley

Make x shape cuts into tomatoes and dip in boiling water for 30 seconds. Peels should come right off. Put in blender and puree.
Brown sausage and ground beef. While browning add all other ingredients in crock pot or dutch oven. When sausage and beef are done add to crock pot and cook on low for at least 5 hours up to 24 hours. The longer the better.
