     Green Beans with bacon and brown sugar

3, 14 oz cans No Salt green beans
8 to 10 slices bacon plus 2-3 tsp. bacon grease
4 Tbs. butter
1/4 Cup soy sauce
1/2 Cup brown sugar
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 Tbl. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste

STOVETOP INSTRUCTIONS- In a small Dutch Oven or skillet over medium heat, cook bacon pieces until crisp. Transfer bacon to a paper towel lined plate and set aside. Discard all but 2-3 Tbl. of bacon grease.
In the same pot with the bacon grease, over medium heat, add butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder and worcestershire sauce. Cook 3-5 minutes more until the mixture has thickened into a glaze and the sugar has dissolved. Add drained green beans and bacon pieces, stir and serve.
CROCKPOT INSTRUCTIONS; Cook bacon as above and set aside. Add the reserved bacon grease and all the remaining ingredients to your crock pot. Give everything a good toss. Cook on low 4-5 hours. Stir in reserved bacon and serve.
OVEN; Cook bacon as above, set aside. Preheat oven to 375 deg. Add reserved bacon grease and all other ingredients to 8 X 8 baking dish and toss well. Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes until glaze is thick and bubbly. Stir in bacon and serve.
Serving Suggestions
To make ahead, use stove top method. Put in baking dish cool then refrigerate until you are ready to serve. Bake at 375 deg. for 20 min covered.
