     Baked Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti, broken in half
2 TBSP olive oil
1-24 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
2 cups water
Meatballs-
1 lb lean ground beef
2/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup basil pesto
salt and pepper to taste
 
Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Add uncooked spaghetti to 9x13 glass baking dish and drizzle with olive oil and cover with spaghetti sauce and water, tossing everything together.
In a large bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, pesto and salt and pepper together until combined. Roll into roughly 16-1 inch meatballs.
Place meatballs on top of pasta, cover with foild and bake in middle rack of the oven for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 6-8 minutes or until meatballs are browned on top and sauce is thickened.
Serve with parmesan cheese.
