1 lb ground turkey breast
|

1 sweet onion, diced
|
|
1 tbsp sesame oil
|
|
1 tbsp rice vinegar
|
|
2 tsp minced fresh garlic
|
|
1 tsp ground ginger
|

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
|
|
1-16 oz bag coleslaw mix
|
|
1/2 cup grated carrots
|
|
|
|
2 green onions, thinly sliced
|
|
salt and pepper to taste
|

1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional but recommended)
|

Instructions |
|
|
Cook ground turkey in skillet until no longer pink.
Add diced onion, sesame oil,and rice vingear and
cook, stirring, until onion is tender.

Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce,
coleslaw mix, and carrots and cook, stirring, for 5-
7 additional minutes or cabbage is wilted.
|
|
|
Remove from heat and stir in green onions and season
with salt and pepper. Serve over rice if desired.
