Ingredients
4 6oz pork chops, about 1-inch thick
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
 
OPTIONAL
1 cup chicken stock
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp butter

Instructions
-Take pork chops out of refrigerator. Season on both sides with salt (1/4 tsp/chop). Let sit for 30 minutes. -Make spice rub- flour, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper. -After 30 minutes, pat pork dry, then rub both sides with spice rub. Let sit another 15 min.
-Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. -Add pork and cook for 2-3 min -Turn over, reduce heat to low, and cover for 6-12 minutes until thermometer reads 145 degrees.
-Transfer to plate and cover with foil for 2-3 min.
Optional- -Increase heat to medium and add chicken stock, honey, and vinegar. -Bring to simmer and reduce by half, spooning off pork pieces from skillet. -Remove skillet from heat and swirl in butter. -Add pork chops back to skillet and spook sauce on top.
