2 garlic cloves, mashed but not peeled (we used minced)
Kosher or sea salt
fresh ground pepper
Shaved parmesan for topping
Instructions
Slightly pre-cook the green beans. Then place them in a large skillet
with the butter, stock, and garlic. Sprinkle generously with salt and
pepper.
Cover pot, place over medium-high heat, and bring to a simmer, then
turn to low once it is simmering. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring
occasionally, until the beans and fully cooked.
Uncover. Toss the beans in their sauce and taste. Adjust seasonings.
Transfer to a serving dish and put shaved parmesan over the top for
serving.
This was a nice change from just steamed green beans, and was
simple to make. NOTE- We pre-cooked the beans because the 8
minute recipe left the beans a little too raw for us.
