Ingredients
One, 8 oz. package cream cheese - no reduced fat, softened
One, 2-2.5 oz package dried or pressed meat, like Buddig ham or beef
1/4 Cup diced onion
5-6 oz. walnuts, finely chopped
 

Instructions
Finely chop the pressed meat. In a mixing bowl, fully blend the meat and softened cheese. Add 1.5 Tbsp. of onion and blend fully. Add more onion if needed.
Spread a 10 X 10 piece of plastic wrap on the counter. Spoon the cheese mixture onto the wrap and shape into a ball. Wrap this up and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Pull out at least 15 minutes before serving to soften a bit. Spread the chopped nuts evenly on the ball. Serve with crackers.
Serving Suggestions
Really good cheese dip. Had this at the Phelps house.
