     Cowboy Cookies-Mom's

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening (butter)
2 well beaten eggs
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups rolled oats
3 cups wheaties
 
Instructions
Combine and beat well, brown sugar, white sugar and butter. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 min.
Optional add ins, 1 cup- cocoanut, peanuts, raisins, choc chips, M&M's, etc.
