Cream butter and sugar together well. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix in. Add rolled oats. Stir
together. Press 2/3 mixture into greased 10X15 inch pan. Set aside.
In heavy pot combine milk, chocolate chips, butter, vanilla and salt.
When chips are melted stir in nuts. Spoon over prepared base.
Spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 oatmeal mixture.
Bake in 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until browned. Cut
into squares.
