preheat oven to 375. cut sweet potatoes lengthwise. arrang in a baking dish
drain apricots reserving 1/3 cup of syrup. combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a small sauce pan. stir in salt, cinnamon, and orange peel. stir in reserved syrup
bring syruo mixture to a boil stirring continuously for 2 min. stir in apricota and pecans
