     Fruit Crisp

Ingredients
5 cups slices, peeled apples
2 to 4 T sugar
1/2 c. regular rolled oats
1.2 c, packed brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cinnamon
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. chopped nuts or coconut
 

Instructions
For filling, place fruit in an 8x1 1/2" round baking dish. stir in sugar
For topping, in a mixing bowl combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. cut in margarine till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. stir in nuts or cocnut. sprinkle topppin over filling
Bake in a 375 oven for 30-35, or until friut is tender and topping is golden brown.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with warm ice cream or light cream if desired
