Apples - braeburn or jonagold or cameos, something crisp and sharp
1/2 can apple juice concentrate
1 Tbl cornstarch
2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 stick salted butter
1 1/2 c flour
1 c oats
2 c brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel and cut up apples, put in a rectangular pyrex pan. Mix apple juice concentrate with 1 tsp cinnamon and cornstarch. Pour over apples.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl until crumbly. Adjust flour/sugar mix to taste and texture. crumble over apples
bake at 350 until the apples are soft - about an hour.
