Grate the orange to add the zest to a bowl. Add the butter, liqueur and a pinch of of salt.
Heat the sugar in a skillet over medium heat while stirring constantly so it melts evenly. Melt it until it turns amber. Remove it and add the orange mixture. Boil this until the sauce is slightly thickened.
Add the strawberries and cook for a short time (1-2 minutes).
