     Macaroni and Tomatoes

Ingredients
elbow macaroni
1 big can of whole tomatoes
2TBLS of chicken or bacon grease
Garlic Powder ( to your taste)
Butter
 

Instructions
Open can of tomatoes pour juice into large pot. Take the whole tomatoes and make sure the ends are off of them. Take tomatoes and smash them with your hands into the pot. Dont try to cut corners and buy the already diced tomatoes, believe it or not, it makes a difference. After you have smashed all of the tomatoes into the pot, put in butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper to your taste. Turn on low heat and simmer.
Cook pasta as directed on package except do not cook it as long as the directions say to. You want the pasta to be not quite done. Drain
Add pasta to tomatoe mixture, mix well. Cover and take off of heat.
ENJOY!!
Serving Suggestions
My family likes it as a meal sometimes, just serve some garlic toast.
