Heat oven to 350 and bake pound cake as directed. Cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool about 30 minutes.
Pierce with fork every 1/2 inch. Make Orange Glaze and pour slowly over warm cake.
Orange Glaze:
Stir together powdered sugar, 3 teaspoons of orange juice and the orange peel. Stir in just enough remaining orange juice to make glaze smooth and consistency of thick syrup.
You can use LEMONS instead of oranges.
