     Italian Cream Cake

Cream together 2 c sugar, ½ c Crisco, ½ c margarine, 5 egg yolks, tsp vanilla. Sift – 2 c flour, 1 tsp soda, ½ tsp salt. Alternate that with 1 c buttermilk. 2 cups flaked cocoanut, 1 c nuts – Fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Bake 45 min @ 350 in 9 x13 pan. Cream: 1 = 8 oz cream cheese 1 stick oleo 1 box powder sugar then add 1 tsp vanilla & ½ c Chopped nuts
