preheat oven to 375 F sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. In large bowl, cream butter. gradually add sugars, beating untill light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Spread evenly in greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly-roll pan bake 20 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool cut into bars
