Ingredients
1 1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 eggs
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
 
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt

Instructions
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and molasses. Combine and add dry ingredients. Chill 1 hour. Make into small balls and roll in sugar. Place on baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
