     Karen's Shortbread

Ingredients
1 lb butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup cornstarch
3 cups all-purpose flour
granulated sugar
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar, mix in cornstarch and flour. Lightly butter jelly roll pan (15.5" x 10.5"). Spread misture in pan. Prick with fork. Sprinkle heavily with granulated sugar.
Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees. slice while warm. Makes two big plates - approximately 68 slices. Store in airtight container or ziplock bag.
