1 lb ground beef
|
|
1-2 cans (15 oz each) chili beans in chili sauce
|
|
1 pkg chili seasoning mix
|
|
1-2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes, undrained
|
|
2 cups water
|
|
2 cups instant rice, uncooked
|
|
1/2 lb Velveeta cheese, (more or less as desired)
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|

Instructions |
|
|
In a large skillet or dutch oven, cook beef, may add onion or garlic as desired. Drain when cooked through.
|
|
|
Add in chili beans, chili season mix, tomatoes, water and cubed cheese. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the rice.
|
|
|
Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat. Turn off heat leaving pan where it is and let it sit until rice is tender.
