Brown Ground beef and drain. Mix in mushroom soup. line the bottom of a casserole dish with the beef and mushroom mixture.
Top with tater tots. Bake at 400 degrees of 30-40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown. If they are not browned enough the casserole tastes mushy.
Cover the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese just before it is done.
