     Pan Fried Bread

3 cups flour
3 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3/4 cup grated coconut (optional)
1 1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
frying pan

Mix flour,baking powder,salt,sugar,nutmeg and coconut into a medium sized bowl.
Add oil and milk until smooth. Sprinkle more flour as needed to mixture. Shouldn't be too soft.
Pour onto a floured surface and knead. More flour may be added to surface as well as mixture if contents are too soft.
Divide into small round balls(about palm size)and slightly flatten. Place small round flattened(resembly fat pancakes)balls into greased frying pan and fry until golden brown.
Serving Suggestions
Makes about 15-18 pieces of bread.
