     Buttery Cornbread

2/3 cup butter or margerine, softened
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 2/3 cup milk
2 1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
4 1//2tsp. baking powder
1tsp. salt

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Combine eggs and milk. Combine flour, cormeal, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture. Pour into greased 13x9in. glass pan.
Bake on 400degrees for 22-27 minutes.
