1/4 lb. mild cheddar, diced (Mom doesn't do this.)
Instructions
Mix well. Shape into a loaf and place in a nonstick pan (works best). Top the meatloaf with strips of bacon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Combine topping: 1/4 c. ketchup, 2 T. brown sugar, 1 t. prepared mustard, 1/4 t. nutmeg. Spread the topping over the top of the meatloaf for the last 10 minutes of baking time.
